TunerWear requires access to your device’s microphone to provide its core functionality as a chromatic tuner for string instruments. Audio captured by the microphone is processed locally on your device in real time to detect pitch and frequency. We do not record, store, or transmit any audio data to external servers.
We automatically collect certain usage data when you use the App through Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC. This data may include:

TunerWear does not collect or request:
The free version of TunerWear displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect and use data to show you personalized ads based on your interests. This data may include device identifiers, IP address, and usage information.

TunerWear offers in-app purchases (subscriptions and lifetime access) processed through Google Play Billing. All payment transactions are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses. Usage data collected through Firebase Analytics is retained in accordance with Google’s standard retention policies. We do not maintain separate databases of personal user information. Anonymized and aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely for the purpose of improving the App.
We value your trust and strive to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable measures to protect the data processed through our third-party services, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
TunerWear does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
